DANIEL BENT

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR | MODELLING SPECIALIST

Daniel is a Chartered Transport Modeller with over 15 years experience in consultancy, working on a wide range of modelling projects for a mix of private and public sector clients.

Daniel graduated from University with a Masters in Civil Engineering and has subsequently developed expertise in microsimulation modelling using PTV VISSIM. His drive to continuously improve and broaden his range of modelling capabilities has led to skills and experience in the modelling of people (stadia, shared spaces), cyclists, public transport (trams), parking (car and coach parking) and logistics (operational planning).

Daniel began working with Carl in 2007 and first worked with Luke in 2015, developing a strong working rapport through their passion for microsimulation modelling before reuniting again as part of Modelling Group. Daniel has also liaised with Chris over the past few years on software development and enjoys being a part of the group, sharing the same passion for technical excellence.
