PEDESTRIAN MULTIMODAL INTERACTION

Our detailed pedestrian modelling, using the additional add-on module, VisWalk, within VISSIM, allows for the modelling and analysis of the complex interaction between pedestrians and multimodal vehicular traffic. Our models can include details such as public transport stops, with pedestrian queuing, boarding and alighting, and all associated reactionary behaviour in the immediate vicinity.

We provide detailed pedestrian modelling, including its interaction with all other modes of transport, in the finest level of detail. This can include temporary planning for alternative arrangements during construction or testing abnormal conditions, such as after a concert or sports event, and their impacts on traffic, as well as giving the option to test different proposals for the future.
